Procurement Expansion Superintendent (Code: PROC-SPT)
Kalimantan Timur

  • Oversee activities of contract, purchasing and logistics within Procurement Expansion Department to provide an effective, efficient service on KPC's behalf, contribute to the achievement of the Expansion Project Division's objectives and meet targets, within cost, quality, safety and time parameters.
  • Plan, develop and implement the Department's annual business plan, together with the financial budget, to determine and co-ordinate work priorities, retain consistency with the Division's objectives and meet goals within professional, time, safety and cost guidelines.
  • Ensure that KPCis adhering to optimal and world’s best practice tendering, purchasing, pricing and supply contract negotiation methodology and practices in all instances, with heightened focus on: expansion capital purchases and expansion service & construction contracts.
  • Liaise with Project Managers and other relevant departments to organize all materials & equipment project to be delivered & stored and establish site support facilities as required in the project plan.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate Procurement Expansion policy that is international best practice and appropriate for KPC.
  • Regularly and actively monitor and manage anticipation with the best alternative to all expansion purchase items and contracts.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering with extensive experience and proven skill in contract, purchasing and logistic management of construction projects and procurement of heavy equipment. As a guide 8 years experience, including 5 years in Supply Management role in mining industry. Preferably has knowledge in Bulk Material Handling and Supply Chain improvement management process
  • Experienced in drafting of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction)/Turnkey Project Contracts including management during project execution with Project Manager, preferably experienced/understanding in FIDIC Construction Contract
  • Capable of dealing with claim management resulting in strategic resolutions based on technical, commercial and legal aspects under the Contract.
  • Experienced in contractual & communication integration of split project packages covering overseas & local supply, logistics process (packaging in containers/break-bulk, vessel arrangement, transshipment, port handling, storage, lay-down, customs clearance, etc) and project construction on site.
  • Proven market place experience and understanding of site specific issues.
  • Financial skills to handle costing and budget responsibility

  • Computer knowledge in Ellipse, Excel and MS words.

Senior - Contract Specialist (Code : SCS)
Kalimantan Timur - Sangata

  • Supervise and always promoting team work and manage delegation necessarily among Contract Specialist.
  • Tender development and processing from tender issuance until contract award plus contract development in timely manner for all contract requests for both long-term service format and projects format.
  • Facilitate and drive resolution meeting to obtain improvements for each issue in tendering process, ongoing contracts and post-contracts.
  • Ensure and maintain tender or contract include KPC Standard as required and follow the procedure especially CMS procedure.
  • Deliver analytical and negotiation skill to achieve the best cost, direct/indirect operation cost for KPC.
  • Facilitate the continuous improvement process of ongoing contracts.
  • Interpret contracts providing advice and support to operational personnel in contracts management.
  • Direct support to line management in overseeing the administration of the contracts and ensure the Contractors comply with its obligations and responsibilities set out in the contract.
  • Provide contractual support to the Project Management Team, during all phases of the Work in terms of claim management and any contractual issues arising from technical problems.
  • Review and provide comments to project specification, policies and procedures proposed by Contractors for the execution of the Work leading to acceptance.
  • Monitor the Contractor’s performance of its contractual obligations and all of Contractor’s Subcontractors and/or Suppliers.
  • Ensure that all contractual matters are properly documented and notified to the appropriate parties on a timely basis.
  • Analyze proposed contract change orders and amendments and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Prepare and establish a master file for the Contract documentation.
  • Ensure commitment and expenditure amounts for the Contract are monitored and reconciled, and that contract close-out values are agreed with the Contractors after completion of each element of the Work.
  • Ensure that all documentation required to verify Certificate of Take-Over, Practical Completion & Release-Discharge, and Final Completion is complete.
  • Prepare any reports in relation to insurance claims and follow-up with the Contractor any warranty claims, and resolve in accordance with the Contractor’s obligations and responsibilities.
  • Effect contract close-out and ensure smooth transition and handover to operations.
  • Provide assistance to Supt. Procurement Expansion.
  • Draft regular monthly report of overall Contracts’ performance for Procurement Expansion Manager.
  • Contract Monitoring System (Claim, Reporting and other deliverables).
  • Continuous review on current procedure.
  • Tertiary education in Industrial Engineering/ Commercial/ Law from a reputable university.
  • As a guide, a minimum of 4th years’ experience in contracting and procurement activities either within a project or miningindustries.
Project Engineer - Mechanical (Code : PEM)
Kalimantan Timur - Sangatta

  • Apply scientific principles and techniques in mechanical engineering situations.
  • Interpret technical drawing, specifications and manuals.
  • Undertake specific project management activities in accordance with agreed project management plan.
  • Gather, validate, store, retrieve, filter and disseminate information as directed within agreed procedures to aid decision making processes throughout project life cycle.
  • Monitor aspects of project scope and report instances of non-compliance with overall scope. 
  • Use techniques to measure, record and report variance between actual and planned progress of project activities.
  • Prepare, storage, and release under delegated authority technical reports and project documentation associated with project.
  • Mechanical Engineering background with good academic standing.
  • Minimum 3 (three) years working experience in fixed plant (preferably bulk material handling) with sufficient exposure to capital projects.
  • Understand project management tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge and experience in equipment installation techniques and standards.
  • Knowledge and sufficient experience in project cost estimation.
  • Knowledge in contract administration and supply chain management.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Conversant with technical and project documentation.

Superintendent - Dispute Resolution (Code : SDR)
Kalimantan Timur - Sangata

  • To Manage and ensure the all process of the dispute resolutions in the company  in line with company direction, CLA, HRMP, Contract of work and prevailing government regulation.
  • Leading HR in disciplinary committee meeting to discuss actions to be given to employee who conducts violation against company regulations that leads to  termination.
  • Conduct action to terminate employee, based on either the decision of the committee meeting or employee's personal preference, or other consideration.
  • Provide advices to Managers on company regulations/ policies, Collective Labor  Agreement and government regulations to prevent or to process the employee violations.
  • Lead and Represent the company to settle employment dispute at the Regional Office of the Department of Manpower, Disnaker and Industrial Relations Court base on companies’ interest and directions.
  • Provide information and notify personal agreement contract, formal documents to review in conflict with manpower rules or regulations or sentences of contract who raise misunderstanding with employee candidate to Manager.
  • Ensure the   all reports and permit related to the Man Power like night work permit for women workers, working hour recommendations, employment registration, annual report of Man power, and employment inspection certificate are valid and provided on time as prevailing government regulation.
  • Control that the appropriate disciplinary actions provided   by each department and ensure the disciplinary actions given are meet prevailing CLA and government regulation.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly report of Section activities for Manager IR&R.
  • Represent the company in accompanying sick or dead employees due to illnesses or accident to their families, and manage the required documents (death certificate, life insurance certificate, or death certificate from the police).
  • Manage employees’ complaints and ensure the resolution process based upon prevailing CLA and government regulation.
  • Manage and maintained the employee data especially data of employee turnover, termination, prolong sickness, Union membership statistic, etc.
  • Minimum S1 degree in (Law, Social Science, Psychology or Mass Communication) with 7 – 9 years working experience in industrial relation.
  • High capability to manage section operation.
  • Mature personality and able to resist pressure.
  • Proficiency in communication in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • High capability to do problem solving and has a high analytical skill.
  • Strong knowledge of Manpower Regulations  of  Indonesia.
  • Capability to do negotiation  in conflict and pressure situation.
  • Maintain good relation with officials from the Department of Manpower, Disnaker, Industrial Relation Court and all Unions in KPC as well as with KPC employees.
Planner - Maintenance (Code : PMT)
Kalimantan Timur - Sangatta

  • Maintain the Equipment Register in Ellipse system when equipment has been transferred from one section/department/division to another, park up, stood down and written off.
  • Create and Maintain Component Register in relation to components being overhauled, so that the life cycle of the individual component can be traced and costs accumulated for budgeting purposes.
  • Control the Work Order System to ensure that the information is maintained to a high level of data integrity by performing regular audits of the system.
  • Control the Maintenance Scheduling System to ensure that equipment services are organized to minimize disruption to the Mining activities, by ensuring each mining Pit is involved in the equipment service allocation process.
  • Create and Maintain the Standard Jobs System to ensure that all new equipment types have the appropriate standard jobs created and that all standard jobs have the correct coding, descriptions and resource estimates and approved by the Maintenance Superintendent.
  • Create and Maintain the Application Parts Lists (APL’s) for services as directed by the Maintenance Superintendents.
  • Accountable for Producing Four Monthly Overhaul Plans to facilitate the departments Equipment Pre-Overhaul Planning (EPOP) process.
  • Maintain Equipment Reference Manuals for each equipment type which identifies the KPC maintenance requirements for servicing, reports, overhauls, parts and task procedures.
  • Maintain Job Overhaul Plans for each overhaul type to assist the Workshop Superintendent, Supervisors to control the overhaul process.
  • Maintain Down Time Statistics in Modular Dispatch System on a daily basis to ensure the integrity of data for the Departments monthly Key Performance Measures (KPM’s)
  • Monitor and Control Data Integrity for the Costing and Budgeting process.
  • Prepare Monthly Work Order Frequency Analysis Statistics for the equipment in each area and ensure the integrity of the data.
  • Assist Senior Planner to generate and maintain reports as required by to the Maintenance Superintendents. These include W/O Backlog, Weekly and Monthly Cost Review Reports.
  • Train and Coach Employees in the using of the Ellipse System and the Department Policies and Procedures in order to improve their performance
  • Participate in Business Improvement Projects as required.
  • Minimum STM or equivalent with 8 years experience in Maintenance including 3 - 5 years planner role experience. (Diploma 3 with 5 years experience or S1 in Mechanical Engineering are preferable).
  • Have basic Mechanical knowledge of mining or heavy equipment, warehouse and part management system, procurement & KPC maintenance policy manual.
  • General Computer skill such as  MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project and Ellipse.
  • Have decision making, high motivation & strong leadership.
  • Good Coaching & training.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (written & oral) in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Manager Accounting and Tax
Kalimantan Timur - Sangatta

  • Develop and maintained accounting policies and procedures to ensure appropriate recording of financial information.
  • Maintain the accounting system reporting requirement definition
  • Monitor external and internal issues affecting to the financial of company
  • Monitor all operational expenditures and provide advice to all relevant parties for cost efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain policy and procedure for tax calculation and reporting.
  • Prepare documents for supporting settling tax dispute resolution.
  • Monitor KPC’s needs on leasing and financing from third party.
  • Develop and maintain relationship to Lessor/Financial Institution.
  • Administer the Leasing/Financial Agreement.
  • Coordinate the financial activities of relevant parties to meet KPC’s requirement.
  • Promote and reinforce compliance with KPC’s safety rules and regulation to all staff and contractors ensure adherence to KPC Golden rules and other fatality prevention elements within the KPC’s operation areas.
  • Promote and reinforce compliance with KPC’s health and environmental management policy; monitor operational activities to identify non-conformance and taking the appropriate corrective measures to ensure compliance with KPC standards.
  • Manage, appraise and evaluate subordinates to assess their performance provide individual feedback and coaching organizing training and enhance their professional and technical skills as well as their attitudes.
  • Review and propose annual department budget Manage and control its implementation.
  • Determine improvement target find the in-efficiencies root causes determine and implement action plan measure the results standardize and continue the same process to the other costly or in-efficient programs (Used continuous improvement methods, PDCA, or other efficiency methods to reduce cost)
  • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree, in Finance/Accountancy/Taxation or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s) Accounting, Taxation, Finance Management and financial analysis, Team Leader, Decision Making.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (oral & written) in both bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Accounting/Audit Firm or Mining Companies. Familiar with IFRS, Indonesia Taxation and Mining Regulation.
  • Demonstrated high level of leadership and managerial skills with a minimum of 5 years prior supervisory / management experience.
  • Demonstrated extensive background in the financial area including financial analysis, financial reporting, financial modeling, tax reporting.
  • Strong ability to improve organizational performance by using effective interpersonal skills
